The Old Foss Course is an 18-hole par 71 golf course.

A picturesque parkland course, the Old Foss is relatively flat but benefits from the natural subtle undulations of the landscape. The Old Foss Course is 6,665 yards from the White tees, 6,341 yards from the Yellow tees and 5,716 yards from the Red tees.

Good use has been made of the Old Foss Beck - a stream which meanders through the course - creating a natural hazard on many of the most challenging holes. The Old Foss Beck features prominently on holes 10, 11 and 12 which are known locally as York's own 'Amen Corner'.

The Old Foss features some tight fairways, a number of dog leg's, four tricky par 3's and three long par 5's - the longest of which is the 602 yard 10th. It is a challenging, but not overly punitive course that offers a good test to players of all abilities.

Strictly golf clothing only, shorts must be smart in appearance, knee length and worn with sports socks. No denims or trainers are allowed.
